Editions Ixe — Soutien à Pinar Selek

Les Edi­tions iXe sou­tiennent sans réserve Pinar Selek qui, en 2012, un an après son arri­vée en France, publiait chez nous son récit d’exil, Loin de chez moi, mais jusqu’où ? Aujourd’hui, 31 mars, nous venons pour la 5e fois à Istan­bul avec la délé­ga­tion de sou­tien à Pinar Selek dans l’espoir que le tri­bu­nal s’opposera à la déci­sion de la Cour Suprême d’annuler le 4e acquit­te­ment pro­non­cé en 2014. Cette déci­sion est un déni de jus­tice fla­grant : per­sonne ne peut com­prendre que la jus­tice turque se désa­voue elle-même en cas­sant l’un après l’autre les juge­ments qui ont conclu à l’innocence de Pinar Selek. Si le 4e devait l’être aus­si, alors c’est qu’une fois encore il ne s’agit pas de jus­tice mais d’acharnement poli­tique contre notre amie qui, en fémi­niste et en anti­mi­li­ta­riste, porte haut les valeurs de liber­té, d’engagement, de soli­da­ri­té.

Edi­tions iXe ful­ly sup­ports Pinar Selek who, in 2012, one year after her arri­val in France, publi­shed with us her per­so­nal sto­ry of exile, Far from Home, But How Far ? Today, 31 March, we are coming to Istan­bul for the 5th time with the Pinar Selek sup­port dele­ga­tion in the hope that the court will oppose the Supreme Court’s deci­sion to over­turn the 4th acquit­tal pro­noun­ced in 2014. This deci­sion is a bla­tant denial of jus­tice : no one can unders­tand that the Tur­kish jus­tice sys­tem is disa­vo­wing itself by over­tur­ning one after the other the judg­ments that conclu­ded Pinar Selek’s inno­cence. If the fourth one were also to be over­tur­ned, then it would mean that once again it is not a ques­tion of jus­tice but of poli­ti­cal per­se­cu­tion of our friend who, as a femi­nist and anti-mili­ta­rist, holds high the values of free­dom, com­mit­ment and soli­da­ri­ty.
